To Pooky

Your purr...fect presence filled the house,
A fact obvious to even a mouse.
Energy personified, that was you...
Never denied by Bob, Ug and Magoo.

You'd fly through the house
with the greatest of speed
A challenge to Bob - that was all that he'd need
The crash at the door was so abrupt
No one could tell which end was up!

We laughed and we chuckled at the two of you
While wide-eyed Magoo and Ug
Pondered...What shall we do?

Your leaving our lives so suddenly
Made our hearts saddened
and again longing to see
That fun-loving creature
Whose name was Pooky.

Love, Mom aka Helen Thompson
(your humble servant and slave
for the past 3 years)
Felines Bob, Ug and Magoo

Pooky died within four days after
the onset of undiagnosed Pancreatitis
